Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in finance, economics, accounting or other related bachelor's degree
- Advanced English level
- Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in Finance
- Experience in finance roles with varying accounting responsibilities including: Revenue Recognition, Reconciliations, Financial Reporting, Journal Entries
- Experience business partnering with senior levels of partners
- Improve, remove roadblocks in a team environment
- Experience managing projects end-to-end and experience getting results, organizing and prioritizing deadlines
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end process for deploying controls and ensuring revenue recognition processes, including communication, planning, scoping, training, transition, and feedback
- Manage relationships with executives across multiple teams to ensure excellence in service provided by the GFS Team in Costa Rica
- Handle quarterly, monthly, and weekly deliverables with a focus on accuracy and excellence, including internal and external audits, peer reviews, and management reviews
- Help with month-end activities for NA and SLATAM Revenue Recognition, such as journal entries, reconciliations, and investigations of open and stale items
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses for month-end and forecast periods for Directors and above, and participate in business calls to explain outputs
- Lead a team of over 10 people, focusing on development to enhance value, improve processes, and use lean and RPA methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiar with IFRS15 and SOX Controls deployment as an ideal
- Knowledge of Lean training and RPA knowledge
