Safety Support Specialist

Summary

Vercel is seeking a Safety Support Specialist with at least 3 years of experience in content review, specifically around financial scams, within a Trust & Safety team. The role involves managing high-volume reactive tickets about potentially malicious content, developing operational workflows, and partnering with the Trust and Safety team to prevent abusive content. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, be comfortable working asynchronously in a remote environment, and be able to handle sensitive matters with discretion.

Requirements

• 3+ years' of experience in content review, specifically around financial scams, within a Trust & Safety team (or equivalent)
• 1+ years' of experience as a frontend engineer or similar technical role, such as cybersecurity

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume of reactive tickets about potentially malicious content (phishing, cryptocurrency and financial scams)
• Develop evaluation and identification criteria for malicious content, to improve proactive prevention and tooling
• Thoroughly compile reports to clearly document scam evaluations, then take appropriate, consistent action as defined by operational policies
• Interface with partners and customers to resolve issues, while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service
• Employ critical thinking, emotional intelligence and creative problem-solving skills while navigating sensitive and nuanced safety concerns
• Support improvement initiatives by analyzing reports, influencing policy development and executing projects to enhance existing workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce, Notion, Twilio and/or Sift
• Experience in Customer Support
• Experience in Crisis Management, Sensitivity Training, Claims Liability, or Incident Management
• Interest in emerging technology like AI, ChatGPT, Cryptocurrency/Blockchain, Metaverse, etc
