Requirements

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS or technology companies
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrable history of achieving or exceeding sales targets and closing deals
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with SaaS products and understanding of cloud-based solutions
  • CRM Expertise: Proficiency in using CRM tools like Pipedrive, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and drive results in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the South African B2B market and the challenges faced by businesses within the region

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation
  • Identify and research prospective clients within the target market, leveraging multiple outreach methods, including email, phone, social media, and networking
  • Qualify leads by assessing their business needs, readiness to engage, and alignment with our service offerings
  • Conduct tailored product demonstrations and consultative presentations to address each prospect's specific needs and challenges
  • Position solutions effectively to highlight value, ensuring alignment with potential client objectives
  • Establish and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads, following up on all potential opportunities
  • Utilize CRM systems to track interactions, manage pipeline stages, and ensure accuracy in sales forecasting
  • Lead negotiations, address client objections, and coordinate with internal teams (legal, finance, etc.) to finalise agreements
  • Ensure proposals and contracts are structured in accordance with company policies and align with client needs
  • Liaise with the marketing and product teams to share customer insights and feedback that inform product enhancements and strategic initiatives
  • Contribute to the development of targeted marketing campaigns and support go-to-market strategies
  • Document all sales activities within the CRM and provide regular reports on key performance metrics, such as lead-to-close conversion rates and revenue growth
  • Analyse sales data to identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies accordingly
