Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
- FINRA licensing preferred or willing and able to complete initial licensing
- 3 years minimum proven success in outbound sales, business development, or client-facing roles, preferably in a high-touch B2B or financial services environment
- Demonstrated business acumen and excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate service offerings and value propositions effectively
- Proven ability to conduct research, distill insights, and tailor messaging based on company and industry context
- Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and consistent follow through
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Adept at handling objections and overcoming challenges in a professional manner
- Experience with CRM systems and familiarity with proposal and presentation tools
- Collaborate and communicate with all levels of the organization to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategies
Responsibilities
- Conduct extensive multi-channel outreach to engage high-potential prospects, facilitating the M&A deal process
- Conduct research on companies, markets, and decision makers to support personalized, strategic outreach efforts
- Lead early-stage conversations with prospects, focusing on investment criteria, strategic priorities, and market positioning
- Collaborate with senior team members to move qualified opportunities through the pipeline and support momentum on active pursuits
- Partner with marketing and business development teams to support campaigns, events, and industry specific initiatives
- Draft and contribute to tailored proposals, pitch materials, and opportunity summaries that reflect the clientsβ objectives and our value proposition
- Demonstrate strong team orientation by working well with others, contributing to shared goals, and helping foster a respectful and constructive work environment
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation and appointment setting targets
- Maintain clean and accurate records in CRM systems, tracking interactions, key takeaways, and follow-up actions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment, where precision and follow-through are critical
