Summary
Join Deputy, a global SaaS workforce management company, as a Sales Development Representative! In this role, you will drive new business in target segments, collaborating with various stakeholders to execute a new outbound strategy. You will focus on sourcing and building pipelines for Account Executives in the Mid-Market and Enterprise segments, building relationships with leads through diverse communication channels. Success in this position requires proven sales experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Salesforce and other sales tools. Requirements
- At least 1 year professional quota-carrying sales experience as a Inbound SDR or similar role at a SaaS company, with a proven track record of achievement and the desire to build a career in sales
- Team player and demonstrated ability to work well in a collaborative environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Excellent phone presence and interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral
- A love for making an impact and working with a team to hit key goals and metrics
- Passion and curiosity around technology with the ability to break comprehend and articulate value points to customers
- Must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Proficiency with Salesforce and other sales enablement tools (i.e. Groove, Outreach, Sales Navigator)
Responsibilities
- Proactively source, engage and qualify strategic prospects in target segments and industries to generate pipeline and create qualified opportunities for our AMER sales team
- Engage with potential clients through various communication channels such as calls, emails, LinkedIn, texts and live chat platforms aimed at creating new business opportunities
- Run your own qualification calls with prospects, helping to determine if they should be passed to AEs for the next stage
- Demonstrate attentive listening skills when understanding customer requirements and articulate how we can meet those needs better than other solutions
- Take rigorous notes and maintain data cleanliness in the CRM to ensure quality handoff to AEs
- Consistently meet established quota targets that will contribute to the company's revenue growth
Preferred Qualifications
Startup and/or people tech experience is a plus!
