Summary

Join Planful's growing Sales Development team as a highly motivated and proactive individual ready for a fast-paced SaaS environment. You will develop skills in outbound lead qualification, pipeline generation, and addressing customer business needs. Responsibilities include executing outbound activities using Planful's tech stack, conducting prospect discussions, understanding finance user pain points, partnering with Account Executives, meeting sales quotas, providing detailed call notes, and maintaining customer information in Salesforce. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate or early-career professional with excellent communication skills, a hunter mentality, and experience with Salesforce and Outreach is a plus. Requirements

  • Located in the West or Mountain time zone of the US or Canada
  • Recent graduate or early-career professional with a strong interest in sales and business development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Driven, hunter mentality, detail oriented, and team player
  • Excellent communicator and team player , with strong written and verbal communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and attention to detail
  • Comfortable and accountable while working remotely
  • Self-motivated and coachable , excelling in a remote work setting, eager to receive feedback, and proactive in managing multiple priorities effectively

Responsibilities

  • Execute on outbound activities using the Planful tech stack
  • Conduct discussions with prospects over the phone to identify and qualify opportunities
  • Understand finance users’ pain points, gather requirements, and correlate business value to customer needs
  • Partner with Account Executives to strategize your outbound approach to identifying opportunities in target accounts
  • Consistently meet and exceed quarterly quotas of qualified pipeline/AE introductions, contributing to overall revenue growth
  • Provide the Account Executive team with detailed call notes to ensure the opportunity is understood and the next steps are clearly defined
  • Update and maintain customer information in Salesforce.com

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce and Outreach is a plus
  • Passionate about pursuing and growing a career in technology/SaaS sales
