Summary

Join Planet as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) and contribute to the growth of a high-growth business unit. Based in the United States, this full-time, remote position involves nurturing high-quality accounts and leads, collaborating with Account Executives and marketers, and understanding Planet's product ecosystem. You will research accounts, identify key stakeholders, and develop account plans. Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Coachable and gritty with a deep desire to learn the business and crush monthly targets
  • Experience prospecting a SaaS product or service to F2000, global and/or government accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to learn complex topics and weave great stories into effective messaging and business outcomes for targeted campaigns
  • Ability to be personable, build rapport and exercise discretion while working with confidential information
  • Excellent written communication, phone, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be a proactive, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude

Responsibilities

  • Own a territory and develop high-quality accounts and leads for your Account Executives, contributing directly to the topline level growth of Planet
  • Collaborate with your dedicated Account Executive and field marketer to drive a world-class engagement experience with strategic sequences, impactful messaging and multi-threading
  • Understand the Planet product ecosystem and key verticals to provide a high level introduction and seamless hand-off to the Account Executive
  • Utilize business and industry knowledge to research accounts (i.e. ZoomInfo, 10K, industry publications), identify key stakeholders, generate interest, create/identify compelling events, and develop account plans

Preferred Qualifications

  • Domain expertise in GEOINT, satellite imaging, or remote imaging
  • Previous vertical experience in: agriculture, energy, state and local governments or universities
  • Experience prospecting or selling into enterprise or government accounts
  • Understanding and experience with MEDDPICC, Command of the Message and/or Science of Sales Development methodologies
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Groove and email automation tools
