Join the SOPHiA GENETICS Sales Team as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) in Madrid, Spain, and contribute to improving outcomes for cancer and rare disease patients globally. The role requires 1-3 years of sales experience, excellent communication skills, fluency in Spanish and English, and strong problem-solving abilities. Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be fluent to a business level in Spanish and English
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently
  • Driven and self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed
  • Exposure to different sales tools, such as: Salesforce, Microsoft Office, LinkedIn, Groove, Outreach, DemandBase, ZoomInfo

Responsibilities

  • Generate new sales opportunities through inbound management and outbound outreach (calls, email, use of Salesforce CRM and other enablement software)
  • Identify the needs of prospects, and suggest appropriate products or services
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Be the front-line for SOPHiA GENETICS in reporting market feedback to teams across the organization
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospects and sales executives
  • Manage renewals and up-sell opportunities with certain key products
  • Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
  • Developing sales outreach strategies to draw in potential buyers or to solicit new potential customers
  • Creating relationships with customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability to drive sales
  • Presenting product information to customers once you have identified their needs
  • Following up with potential customers who expressed interest but did not purchase any goods or services
  • Collaborating with sales executives to ensure the company's goals and targets are met

Preferred Qualifications

BA/BS degree preferred
