Summary
Join Bainbridge, a leading financial services firm, as a Business Development Intern and become a crucial member of our team, generating new business opportunities. This performance-based internship offers valuable experience in a real-world sales role, building your communication skills, business acumen, and resilience. You will learn to build client relationships from scratch and position yourself for a long-term career in financial services. The internship is remote, 20-30 hours per week, with a minimum 90-day commitment and pays $18.00-$20.00 per hour, plus discretionary bonuses. The position requires strong communication, organizational, and CRM software skills. Immediate start date.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled senior or recent graduate of BA/BS degree program in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
- Adept at handling objections and overcoming challenges in a professional manner
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate product offerings and value propositions effectively
- Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and delivering results
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Conduct extensive outbound prospecting calls to identify potential clients
- Qualify leads and set appointments for sales executives through effective communication and active listening
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions in our CRM system
- Continuously improve your knowledge of our products/services, industry trends, and competitive landscape
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in sales, customer service, or a similar role, highly preferred
- Experience in private equity, financial services, or related professional services, preferred
