Join Connexity's ShopYourLikes team as a Sales Director, a key leadership role responsible for building and executing the sponsorship revenue strategy. You will build relationships with brands and retailers, sell ShopYourLikes sponsorship solutions, and leverage affiliate marketing expertise to drive measurable revenue growth. This role requires a proven track record of success in sales, particularly within the retail and CPG industries, and a strong understanding of affiliate marketing. The position offers a competitive base salary, uncapped OTE exceeding $200,000+, and a hybrid or fully remote work option. Requirements
- 7+ years of influencer, social media, or digital media sales experience (influencer brand / retailer sales experience a plus)
- Proven ability to use affiliate strategies to help brands and retailers grow revenue
- 7+ years of sales experience with financial quotas and a track record of over-performance
- Experience in a player/coach role, responsible for individual contribution while also mentoring a team
- Successful track record of achieving and exceeding financial objectives with premium brands and retailers
- Strong relationships within the retailer and CPG industries
- Experience working in a fast-growing division / company
- Experience selling and adapting in a fast-paced and often changing environment
- Experience working collaboratively with commercial leadership, legal, finance, and campaign teams
- Strong knowledge in the Microsoft and Google product suites (especially PowerPoint / Google Slides)
- Experience with CRM pipeline management and reporting (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
- Ability to leverage DocuSign (or similar document platform) for contract templates and processing
Responsibilities
- Build relationships and sell the ShopYourLikes sponsorship solution to brands and retailers
- Leverage affiliate marketing expertise to identify opportunities, craft compelling sponsorship packages, and articulate ROI for prospective clients
- Partner with brands to optimize their sponsorship and affiliate strategies to drive measurable revenue growth
- Manage all sales outreach, lead management, pipeline reporting, CRM activity, and proposal delivery
- Deliver success against financial targets on a quarterly basis
- Generate a minimum number of sales meetings and proposals each quarter
- Clearly and effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals
- Focus on the Retail and CPG industries, partnering with prospective clients to understand their business objectives and to deliver solutions that align with their sponsorship and affiliate goals
- Represent ShopYourLikes at industry events and in-person meetings, acting as an ambassador for the company
- Partner with leadership, marketing, and campaign management to ensure positive and successful client engagement
- Collaborate with ShopYourLikes leadership and campaign management on customer upsells, contract renewals, and overall client satisfaction
- Collect and share market feedback with the wider team to evolve our GTM offering and value props
- Have travel availability for conferences / trade shows, client meetings, and company meetings as necessary
Preferred Qualifications
An understanding of affiliate marketing and affiliate platforms / tools is a significant plus
