Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales and proven experience exceeding sales targets
  • Demonstrable experience as Head of Sales
  • A leverageable network of small business contacts
  • Experience working online and remotely with high autonomy
  • Native-level English speaking and writing (C1-C2)
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the sales department and hold its members accountable to high standards
  • Develop new sales channels and lead sources
  • Implement improvements in the department’s processes e.g. lead qualification, sales calls, proposal development, sales and follow-up process, contract negotiation, upselling
  • Develop and execute new strategic plans and processes
  • Set goals and KPIs for the sales team, implement scorecards, measure stats, and produce monthly reports to assess performance
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to the sales team (4 sales reps) for continuous improvement
  • Grow the sales team as required to achieve its goals
  • Implement performance improvement plans as needed
  • Ensure C-level executives are informed on the progress of sales targets
  • Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships within the industry, potentially traveling to occasional industry conferences and events in the US
