Summary

Join ev.energy, a company focused on simplifying electric vehicle charging, as a Business Development Lead for the EU and UK markets. Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior sales position, preferably within a start-up environment
  • Strong knowledge within SaaS sales, and ideally experience selling to utilities
  • Ability to think strategically with a track record of successfully identifying and closing new business, ideally with enterprise clients
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision making
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
  • Proactivity - you will continually push for more and suggest and implement processes and ways of working to be better
  • Alignment to the vision, mission, and values of ev.energy

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across utilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements aligning with our business objectives
  • Build relationships with key partners, stakeholders and industry SMEs to collaborate and drive success
  • Build a robust sales pipeline, prioritising for maximum impact
  • Coach team members to develop a high performance team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation; setting clear performance expectations and providing regular feedback
  • Prepare and deliver high quality presentations, engaging pitches and scoping meetings with prospecting clients as you articulate the value of our SaaS solutions
  • Prepare and present regular reports to the executive team, providing insights into business development activities, market trends, and performance metrics
