Summary

Requirements

  • Ability to build strong customer relationships leading to trusted advisor status within customer and partner base
  • In-depth knowledge of baseline pre-sales product and engineering skills
  • Knowledge of relevant solutions sets, product line specifications, performance criteria, and applications of use
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively across teams and collaborate with a variety of departments
  • Demonstrated history of exhibiting technical knowledge and consultative skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and sales support for assigned and prospective customers
  • Take the lead on moving opportunities through the sales process from a technical perspective
  • Perform technical presentations for customers, partners, and prospects
  • Assist with developing formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities
  • Understand complex customer technical and business situations and identify where Appspace solutions can provide value
  • Act as an SME for ongoing implementations and deployments to provide solutions that fit customer use cases
  • Collaborate with our Enhanced Services team and Customer Success team to ensure proposed solutions are properly scoped and, ultimately, successful
  • Help drive account and partner relationship building
  • Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products, and services

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior sales, sales engineering, or solution architect experience
  • Working knowledge/use of Salesforce, Scripting, Web Development (HTML, JavaScript, and AngularJS), O365/Azure, working knowledge of containerization/Kubernetes, cloud solutions, IPTV streaming, digital signage/video walls, space management/room booking tools (IWMS, etc.)
  • Prior Software/SaaS Company and Industry experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 5 years professional experience (Computer Science/Information Technology and Engineering fields preferred but not required)
