Join Druva, the autonomous data security company, as a Sales Engineering Specialist focused on Endpoint Data Protection and Data Security! This role involves providing technical direction and business guidance to regional sales teams, exceeding sales targets by driving innovative technical programs, conducting customer demonstrations and POCs, and overseeing daily technical solutioning activities. You will evangelize, position, and architect Druva’s Endpoint Data Protection & Data Security Solutions to new and existing customers. The position requires 4+ years in technical customer-facing roles, including 2+ years as a sales engineer with enterprise software. Druva offers a competitive compensation package, including a base pay between $136,000 and $181,333/year, potential bonuses and commissions, equity, and a comprehensive benefits program.
Requirements
- 4+ years in technical customer-facing roles with at least 2+ years as a sales engineer working with enterprise software solutions
- Intermediate level knowledge of enterprise server backup technologies
- Intermediate level knowledge of operating systems, including MS Windows, Linux,& macOS
- Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, SSO, MFA, SCCM, and automated deployment tools
- Knowledge and practical experience with virtual desktop infrastructures such as VMware Horizon, Amazon WorkSpaces, Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop, etc
- Basic understanding of network technologies and protocols – TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, switches, firewalls, routers, and proxies
- Entrepreneurial - willing to go the extra mile, strong work ethic, resourceful, “get it done” attitude
- A highly energetic drive to meet goals with a strong hands-on, “can do” approach
- Strives in moving in a fast-paced environment, including handling multiple calls/demos per day with immediate follow-up
- Travel up to 25% as needed
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates technical leadership and subject matter expertise on fully managed cloud-native SaaS, Endpoint Data Protection & Data Security, and Cyber Resiliency
- Provides technical leadership and direction to customers and internal staff in the development of Druva solutions, supporting pre-sales activities within the assigned region
- Leverage technical discovery and qualification fundamentals to establish rapport as a trusted advisor to develop and propose solutions that meet the technology and business requirements of prospective & existing customer accounts in the region
- Meet business objectives by collaborating with Sales Executives in the region
- Assist in delivering technical enablement to the Druva Channel Partner ecosystem
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with a SaaS company or demonstrable knowledge of SaaS practices
- Intermediate level of knowledge of cloud-native IaaS & PaaS services
- A high level of business acumen and experience working with various cross-functional stakeholders to foster collaboration in solving business challenges
- Fundamental knowledge of the NIST Cybersecurity 2.0 framework
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity solutions in the areas of EDR, XDR, MDR, etc
