Requirements

  • 4+ years prior experience as an Enterprise Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar in B2B Enterprise SaaS
  • Deep knowledge of customer data platforms, digital advertising, product analytics, and the positioning of vendors within these spaces
  • Confidence when reading and interpreting code. We don’t write code often, but knowing how to read / write javascript on the fly will be critical to your success
  • Excellent communication skills, you enjoy simplifying complex technical topics
  • A self-starter mentality - you are a quick learner and thrive in ambiguity. If given the opportunity, you’d lead the team. There’s plenty of room for that in the near future here
  • You’ve been an early employee at a similarly early stage startup and you know what it’s like

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the sales team throughout the entire sales cycle, providing product expertise and insight into how to optimize our sales strategy
  • Take ownership over product demos, tailoring each to prospects' unique needs while clearly and simply showcasing the features of Freshpaint
  • Provide guidance on legal and security calls, addressing customer concerns around system architecture, compliance, privacy, and data security
  • Drive continuous process improvement for the SE team, streamlining workflows to improve our knowledge management and overall team success
