Remote Sales Engineer

Requirements

• Strong technical aptitude with a focus on video surveillance systems and IT networking
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience working with sales teams and managing customer relationships
• Ability to travel for customer meetings and presentations
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role
• Must have VMS experience

Responsibilities

• Assist the sales team in identifying customer needs and providing tailored solutions
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to potential customers
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure alignment of product capabilities with customer requirements
• Provide ongoing support and training to customers during the onboarding process
• Provide support in the development and delivery of proposals, RFPs, and RFIs
• Assist in the design and implementation of customer solutions
• Act as a liaison between the sales team and the engineering department for technical questions
• Gather feedback from customers to assist in product development and improvement
• Travel to customer sites for meetings, presentations, and installations as needed
