Summary
Join Hologram as a Sales Engineer and partner with Account Executives as the technical lead throughout the sales process. Leveraging your expertise in cellular connectivity, embedded systems, and IoT, you will drive deals forward and develop solutions. You will lead technical pre-sales, act as a subject matter expert for Hologram's product suite, provide end-to-end IoT expertise, and assist with technical support. This role requires experience in embedded systems, cellular connectivity, IoT professional services, TCP/IP protocols, and selling complex technical products. Requirements
- Experience building and deploying embedded systems or IoT devices
- Proven expertise in cellular connectivity, cellular certifications, AT commands, radio modules, and modems
- Experience in IoT professional services or consulting advising clients on IoT product development and design
- Experience with TCP/IP based protocols and networking principals
- Experience selling complex technical, developer-facing products (ex. networking products, embedded systems hardware products, data products, and APIs)
- Experience with enterprise technical sales cycles that require coordinating with multiple stakeholders to deliver accurate, up-to-date project plans (MAPs) and clear launch guidance
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical pre-sales relationship by providing guidance on technical architecture, demonstrating the product (ex. Dashboard), mitigating technical concerns or obstacles, and building customer trust in Hologram
- Act as a subject matter expert for Hologram's full product suite who can expertly communicate Hologram's technical value proposition, including Dashboard and/or API integration
- Provide prospects with end-to-end IoT expertise including hardware selection, embedded systems/product architecture and design, and device certifications
- Assist with and drive resolution for technical support issues that arise during pre-sales, testing, and pilot phase
- Maintain a high level of expertise in IoT technologies and relevant industry trends
