Summary
Karbon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join their dynamic team. The role involves delivering product demos, leading product evaluations, influencing the product roadmap, and being consultative to solve customer problems. Candidates should have 2+ years of experience in Sales Engineering or similar roles, strong understanding of SaaS solutions, business acumen, polished presentation skills, experience with data analytics tools, eagerness to learn, and a desire to work in a dynamic startup.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, or other technical customer-facing roles
- Strong understanding of SaaS solutions and web app fundamentals
- Strong business acumen, and polished presentation skills, with an aptitude for explaining complex technical concepts to laypeople
- Experience with data analytics tools and methodologies
Responsibilities
- Deliver polished, in-depth product demos to prospects
- Lead product evaluations, demonstrating attainment of success criteria for prospects
- Work cross-functionally, with engineering to influence product roadmap, features, and reporting bugs
Preferred Qualifications
- Eager to learn, try new things, and take calculated risks
- Data-driven, a process-oriented individual who can point to ways youβve upleveled the product/process and people in your professional experience past
- Desire to work in a dynamic startup where your input is desired to help craft our offerings and how we interact with clients
- Accounting, Tax, or App industry experience
- Previous experience working at a company that sells Workflow, Accounting, or Project Management software
- Scaleup environment experience
