Join our team as a highly skilled Sales Engineer with deep experience in the wastewater industry to support our VP of Product and Process. This role blends technical expertise, client interaction, and business acumen to develop and sell solutions meeting clients' operational and financial needs. You will collaborate with the VP on sales strategy, engage with clients to understand their requirements, and prepare technical presentations and proposals. The position involves supporting the commercial process, creating financial models, and liaising with production teams. Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or Application/Process Engineer, ideally in the wastewater industry
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, cost estimation, and commercial terms in technical sales
- Knowledge of basic fabrication techniques and manufacturing processes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both technical and client-facing
- Ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and commercial teams
- Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the VP of Product and Process to support sales strategy and technical scoping
- Engage with clients to understand requirements and develop tailored technical solutions
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals
- Support the commercial deal process, including quoting, cost estimation, and contract development
- Assist in the creation and analysis of financial models for project proposals
- Provide input on system/application design, drawing from experience in application or process engineering
- Liaise with fabrication and production teams to ensure technical feasibility and execution alignment
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and competitive technologies in the wastewater sector
