Summary
Join runZero's expanding team as a Federal Sales Engineer and drive significant revenue growth for our Federal prospects and customers. This fully remote role requires strong technical expertise and exceptional communication skills to act as a bridge between sales and technical teams. You will jointly own and achieve ARR goals, understand and communicate runZero's value proposition, lead customer PoVs, and advocate for product improvements based on customer feedback. Requirements
- 4+ years experience in a SE or similar customer-facing role supporting technical interactions and communications within the federal sector
- 3+ years of hands-on experience across one or more of the following areas: L2-L4 networking, systems administration, cloud computing, IT security, OT security, or other relevant technical fields
- A foundational understanding of core cybersecurity principles and challenges for IT, OT, and IoT environments
- Working knowledge and understanding of procurement and acquisition processes within federal environments and agencies
- The technical competency to implement, configure, and understand runZero's solution while building strong relationships with highly specialized customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to prioritize across multiple customer projects and responsibilities
- Openness to coaching and mentoring, possessing a natural curiosity around technology, and supporting customers
- Ability to collaborate with Federal channel partners in support of customer projects
- Experience managing technical PoV/PoCs within SE role across multiple Account Managers
Responsibilities
- Jointly own and achieve ARR goals across our Federal team by providing technical expertise and serving as a trusted advisor to customers to assist purchasing decisions or disqualify a deal when runZero is not an appropriate technical fit
- Understand and communicate runZeroβs value propositions effectively through solution demos, PoVs (proof-of-value), presentations, and enablement sessions with prospects, customers, and partners
- Lead the support within customer PoVs to address specific use cases and requirements, while collaborating within runZero as needed
- Listen to customer and prospect feedback, and advocate within runZero to guide product and go-to-market priorities
- Present vision, strategy, and product roadmaps to customers
- Support the runZero message by contributing to webcasts, blog posts, best practices guides and tips, and other technical writing support
