Join Xometry, a company connecting those with big ideas to manufacturers, as a Sales Engineer. Strengthen our sales team by providing expert technical advice and support. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design tailored technical solutions. Participate in client meetings and presentations, providing technical insights. Develop and deliver training programs for the sales team. Work with various teams to ensure seamless solution integration. Maintain comprehensive documentation for technical solutions. Continuously improve technical offerings and propose innovative solutions. This is a remote, full-time position.
Requirements
- Graduate engineering degree
- 4+ years of experience in metalworking / mechanical engineering
- Expert knowledge of various metalworking methods: CNC machining, sheet metal working, 3D printing
- Good knowledge of French and English
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical resource for the sales team, delivering expert advice and support throughout the sales process
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand requirements and design tailored technical solutions that meet customer needs and align with our capabilities
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, providing technical insights and resolving queries to build trust and secure business
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the sales teamβs understanding of technical concepts and manufacturing processes
- Work with the Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Support teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions and enhance overall service offerings
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for technical solutions, processes, and client requirements
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to continually improve technical offerings and propose innovative solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Italian is a big plus
- IT enthusiast, ready to master and use modern technologies and software
