Summary

Join Centric Software, a global leader in PLM solutions, as a Sales Executive in the Food & Beverage sector. This remote UK-based role focuses on generating revenue through direct sales of extended PLM solutions to enterprise accounts (€1 billion+ revenue). You will be responsible for managing your territory, building executive relationships, and driving complex sales cycles. Success requires proven experience selling PLM or related enterprise software, strong presentation skills, and a proactive approach to business development. Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven success in selling PLM and/or related Enterprise Application software (e.g., MRP, ERP, CRM, SCM), with a strong preference for Food/Grocery Technology experience, (i.e. Compliance, Formulation, quality, NPD processes)
  • Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed annual sales quotas and revenue targets, particularly in large, complex software deals
  • Strong executive-level presentation skills, able to effectively communicate with small or large audiences
  • Proven ability to identify, engage, and convert new prospects into customers, with strong prospecting skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a creative, entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving and business development
  • Highly energetic and driven, with a passion for driving growth and success
  • Intermediate understanding of the Food & Beverage manufacturing industry, particularly in relation to KPIs and market trends
  • Experience with value-based selling and solution selling methodologies
  • Native or fluent in English, with exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal)

Responsibilities

  • Own revenue generation within assigned territory, and the quality & strength of executive relationships within the territory
  • Conduct in-depth, broad-based sales presentations of the entire Centric extended PLM Solution suite
  • Drive complex solution sales cycles to deal closure
  • Prospect with qualified leads to identify business opportunities where the Centric PLM Solution suite can provide business solutions
  • Analyze customer business requirements to develop a sales strategy and propose/pitch the proper solution mix leveraging ROI benefits
  • Produce written proposals & quotations
  • Prepare business response documentation for RFI/RFP/RFQ requests
  • Analyze requirements and design solutions to complex customer business requirements
  • Work with a technical team to ensure a clear understanding of customer’s technology requirements; provide sales leadership for Proposal and Project teams and vision to win and deliver large-scale, complex solutions
  • Meet and exceed assigned revenue goals
  • Develop and manage a business plan for assigned territory
  • Participate in regional & national trade shows, exhibits and conferences
