Summary

Join Oscar's Sales team as a Sales Executive and drive sales efforts by identifying and qualifying potential leads. Ensure insurance brokers have the necessary information and tools to sell Oscar's products. This remote position, based in Florida, requires managing leads, collaborating with marketing, maintaining CRM records, and representing Oscar at events. You'll report to the Sales Lead and continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge. The role demands healthcare sales experience, presentation skills, and insurance licensing (or the ability to obtain one within 90 days). Compensation includes a base pay, sales commissions, and employee benefits.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of healthcare industry experience in a sales role or sales organization
  • 2+ years of experience presenting and communicating with stakeholders at all levels
  • Must be a licensed insurance professional or obtain within the first 90 days

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify potential leads and target accounts
  • Reach out to prospects via phone calls, emails, and social media
  • Qualify leads by understanding their needs and determining their potential fit with our products/services
  • Schedule meetings or demos for the sales team with qualified leads
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align on lead generation strategies and campaigns
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions in the CRM system
  • Represent our product in the market at events / conferences as needed, which may take place during evening and/or weekend hours
  • Continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge through training and feedback
  • Identify areas where we can improve tools and processes
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Salesforce
