Summary

Join Therabody as a motivated and results-driven Sales Manager for our Mass Clubs division, with a focus on driving sales into Walmart. This role is pivotal in building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders at Walmart, optimizing product placement, and executing sales strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record of selling into mass retailers, specifically Walmart
  • In-depth understanding of the mass retail landscape, including market trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at Walmart and other mass retail accounts
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to senior executives and cross-functional teams
  • Proven experience in negotiating contracts and terms with large retailers, demonstrating the ability to achieve mutually beneficial agreements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share within Walmart
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Walmart’s buying team, category managers, and other key decision-makers to ensure favorable product placement and visibility
  • Create and implement sales strategies tailored to Walmart’s unique needs, including promotional activities, pricing strategies, and product assortments
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Analyze sales performance, track key metrics, and prepare reports to evaluate the effectiveness of sales initiatives and identify areas for improvement
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, supply chain, and product development, to ensure alignment with Walmart’s requirements and expectations
  • Lead negotiations on pricing, promotions, and contract terms with Walmart to secure profitable agreements and long-term partnerships
  • Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise with Walmart, including supply chain disruptions, pricing discrepancies, or product quality concerns
