You will focus on new business development, collaborating with Customer Success Managers to expand existing accounts and exceed targets. The role involves strategic conversations with prospects, uncovering business challenges, and aligning Wiser's solutions to drive value. You will deliver compelling product demonstrations, develop tailored proposals, and build strong client relationships. Maintain a disciplined sales pipeline with accurate forecasting is crucial. This remote position requires proven experience in selling software or SaaS solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience selling software or SaaS solutions
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Comfortable in phone, video, and in-person client interactions
- Proven experience using consultative sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Force Management, Mastering the Complex Sale)
- Naturally curious and adept at uncovering and quantifying customers' complex business challenges
- Highly proactive, organized, and results-driven
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisive asks
- Coachable, adaptable, and a team player with a growth mindset
Responsibilities
- New Business Development
- Self-prospect and cultivate new business opportunities within the assigned territory
- Collaborate with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to grow existing accounts while exceeding new business targets
- Engage key decision-makers to define timelines and create urgency for deal closure
- Sales Process & Execution
- Conduct strategic conversations with prospects to uncover core business challenges
- Align Wiser’s solutions with prospective customers' pain points to drive value
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations via Microsoft Teams or similar platforms
- Communicate Wiser’s value proposition effectively, positioning against competitors and the status quo
- Develop tailored proposals to address client challenges and deliver scalable solutions
- Client Management & Relationship Building
- Build strong, consultative relationships with prospects and clients
- Maintain a disciplined sales pipeline with accurate forecasting
- Maintain reliable work attendance and meet performance expectations
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling to brands and/or retailers in the durables or FMCG space preferred
