Summary
Join BeatBox Beverages as a Sales Representative in Raleigh/Durham and drive sales of BeatBox Party Punch through distributor partners. You will execute national, regional, and local chain programming, manage independent accounts, and achieve sales, distribution, display, and shelf space goals. Responsibilities include regular account visits, relationship building with distributors and retailers, and executing retail chain programs. You will also conduct pricing surveys, identify event opportunities, and collaborate with regional sales teams on activations and blitzes. The role requires strong communication and presentation skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a valid driver's license. A Bachelor's degree and distributor/supplier experience are preferred.
Requirements
- Must live within Primary assigned Sales Territory
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability and willingness to work nights and weekends as necessary, start-up company in hyper-growth mode
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and adopt company software applications
- Valid driverโs license and acceptable driving record
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Responsibilities
- Ride-alongs with distributors to help with sales support and ensure the proper BeatBox brand selling story
- Adherence to CRM Platform for ALL in market store visits achieving monthly (160), quarterly (480), and annual goals (1,760), set for, but not limited to sales, distribution, displays and shelf space
- Visit an average of 40 accounts per week or a minimum monthly total of 160 accounts monthly from the assigned targeted account list
- GoalApril- Sept. 60% Chain 40% IndependentOct.- March 50% Chain 50% Independent
- Daily / Weekly recaps to be delivered to the respective distributor and Region Manager/Director
- Garner and maintain strong relationships with distributor, targeted retail accounts and retail chain customers
- Drive distribution, display execution and merchandising standards
- Execute retail chain programming
- Conduct pricing surveys when necessary and report results back to Region leadership
- Identify event opportunities in your area that will translate national programs into successful local activation through product sampling, event partnerships, on-premise & off-premise activations
- Align with Region Sales Director/Manager, Commercial Sales Managers & Field Marketing Specialists to support activations, merchandising, and sales blitzes in your area
- Develop relationships with on premise managers, off premise managers, operations managers and distributor sales and marketing departments
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelorโs Degree preferred
- Experience working as a distributor or supplier preferred
