Summary
Join SentinelOne as a Staff Salesforce CPQ Business Systems Analyst and play a key role in optimizing our quote-to-cash process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements, design and configure Salesforce CPQ solutions, and translate business needs into scalable system solutions. You will be responsible for requirements gathering and analysis, solution design and configuration in Salesforce, stakeholder communication, testing and quality assurance, and change management and documentation. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, 6+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst with Salesforce CPQ experience, and strong knowledge of Salesforce CPQ and Sales Cloud. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or Technology related field
- 6+ years of experience working as a Business Systems Analyst, with professional Salesforce CPQ experience
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce CPQ and Sales Cloud
- Hands-on experience with CPQ configuration, including product rules, pricing, and discounting
- Proficiency in understanding business processes related to sales, pricing, and contract management
- Deep understanding of subscription software selling motions across various channels, including Distribution, Federal, Reseller, MSSP, etc
- Proficiency in creating process diagrams, user stories, and functional specifications
- Working knowledge of end to end business lifecycle from Marketing through Ordering
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills coupled with strong negotiating and conflict-resolution abilities
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for Salesforce CPQ solutions
- Understand complex pricing models, discount structures, channels, and approval processes to design efficient CPQ solutions, leveraging OOTB capabilities where possible
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements to optimize the quote-to-cash lifecycle
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development (i.e. BRD’s, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, etc)
- Perform basic configurations in Salesforce CPQ to meet business needs, including pricing rules, product configurations, and discount schedules
- Utilize strong understanding of CPQ logic, including product bundling, guided selling, and approvals to guide business decisions
- Work closely with Salesforce Developers, Solutions Engineers and Admins to implement custom solutions that meet business needs
- Clearly communicate the level of effort required and potential downstream impacts to the business on each project
- Build consensus among cross-functional business stakeholders on approach and outcomes to deliver robust, salable technology solutions
- Effectively communicate any changes to project scope to drive alignment and clarity on project goals
- Define test cases, facilitate quality assurance (QA) testing along with user acceptance testing (UAT), and validate system functionality
- Identify and troubleshoot CPQ-related issues, ensuring timely resolution
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including process flows, user guides, and training materials
- Work closely with sales enablement and other stakeholders to create roll out plans
- Assist with change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new features and functionality
- Strong passion for identifying operational inefficiencies, analyzing root causes, and implementing scalable solutions to optimize processes, enhance system performance, and drive business growth
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Certified Admin, Salesforce Business Analyst, Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification(s)
- Experience with Advanced Approvals
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management best practices
