Summary
Join Toast's Business Technology and Transformation (BTT) team as a Salesforce Developer and collaborate with a team to deliver innovative solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will focus on Salesforce development tasks, utilizing your expertise in VF pages, Aura, Lightning Web Components, APEX, and web services. Responsibilities include following development best practices, participating in deployment processes, developing tests, and estimating project plans. The ideal candidate possesses 4-5 years of Salesforce development experience, understands Agile methodologies, and holds Salesforce Platform Developer and/or App Builder certifications. Toast offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including a base salary range of $86,000-$138,000 USD, plus additional cash compensation, equity, and benefits.
Requirements
- 4-5 years of Salesforce development experience (Lightning, VF, Apex) in an Enterprise environment
- Experience using Process Builders, Flows and other Salesforce platform tools
- Understanding of the Software Development Life cycle and Agile methodologies
- Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and/or Sales Cloud (Experience Cloud a plus)
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ configuration and implementation
- Experience in Salesforce CPQ Products, Features, Options, Configuration Attributes
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ Product Rules, Pricing Rules, Lookup Queries
- Experience with Salesforce Discounting, contracts, quote templates, and renewals
- Experience in the Quote to Cash Domain (preferably CPQ (Salesforce CPQ/Conga/Industry CPQ) and/or Billing (Zuora/Salesforce Billing/Conga Billing
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Bachelorβs Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
- Salesforce Platform Developer and/or App Builder certifications
Responsibilities
- Spend the majority of their time working on Salesforce related development tasks
- Follow design, architecture and development best practices
- Actively be involved in deployment processes
- Identification of affected components
- Merging of code with the rest of the code base
- Identification and resolution of merge conflicts
- Development of adequate tests that cover and validate code
- Development of adequate tests that cover and validate code
- Assists in developing project estimates and plans for self
- Accurate sizing of stories based on SCRUM process
- On time delivery of work
- Timely escalation of blockers
- Proficiency troubleshooting issues
- Leverage Developer Console, Workbench and other troubleshooting tools
- Analyze Salesforce Debug Logs for errors and performance issues
- Proactively seeks out and keeps up-to-date on Salesforce technologies, related tools, and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification
- Salesforce CPQ Certification
- Experience using ServiceNow or similar tool
- Experience using Jira or similar
- Experience using version control tools (GitHub)
- Experience using Salesforce CI/CD tools (Copado)
