Summary
Join Rubrik, a disruptive tech company, as a Go To Market (GTM) Tech Lead for RubrikX, our new product incubation team. You will be responsible for achieving product line revenue goals by developing and overseeing the corporate technical go-to-market strategy and key account technical pre-sales activities. This role involves providing technical leadership, serving as a trusted technology advisor, leading sales calls, qualifying opportunities, maintaining product roadmap alignment, assisting with marketing and sales collateral development, and driving adoption of Rubrik's cloud native protection technologies. Requirements
Have a fundamental breadth of technical knowledge in cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery and data analytics
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and direction to Rubrik, customers, and prospects in the development and positioning Rubrik's cloud native data protection solutions for our newest Laminar offerings
- Serve as a trusted technology advisor to customers and serve as a public cloud subject matter expert when positioning Rubrik's cloud capabilities to key accounts
- Lead technical sales calls, gather / analyze customer feedback, and identify trends
- Qualify sales opportunities in the terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding
- Maintain a consistent cadence with product management to ensure product roadmap alignment with customer demands
- Assist with the development of marketing and sales collateral to ensure alignment with customer needs and technical accuracy
- Aid in the development and delivery of technical enablement to Rubrik, channel, and alliance partner sales architects
- Cross-functionally drive the adoption of Rubik's cloud native protection technologies throughout Rubrik and the public cloud ecosystem
Preferred Qualifications
- Have 5+ years of sales engineering experience in a cyber security environment with a proven track record of success
- Have experience with cloud infrastructure, and/or cloud hosting
- Be driven β need for success, highly energetic with a strong hands-on, βcan doβ approach
- Be entrepreneurial - willing to go the extra mile, strong work ethic, resourceful, βget it doneβ attitude
- Strive in moving in a fast-paced environment; including handling multiple calls/demos per day with immediate follow up
- Have a high level of business acumen and experience working with Cx0 level personnel, bringing technology solutions to solve business challenges
- Be smart, adaptable and open-minded
