Summary

Join Komodo Health's Sales Engineering team and contribute to our mission of reducing the global burden of disease. Partner with Sales and Account teams to provide technical expertise to Life Sciences and Healthcare clients. You will support senior engineers and sales representatives throughout the sales cycle, from discovery to solution design. This role involves developing tailored solutions using Komodo's healthcare data, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring client success. In your first year, you'll support multiple opportunities, develop deep data expertise, create technical assets, and build strong internal relationships. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Support roles, preferably in healthcare technology or data services
  • Experience assisting Sales teams in discovery, qualification, and technical enablement efforts
  • Foundational understanding of healthcare claims data (e.g., 837/835 data, NDC codes, etc.) and life sciences commercial strategies
  • Strong technical skills, including exposure to APIs, data integration, and cloud-based architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner with Sr. Sales Engineers and Sales Representatives
  • Basic knowledge of HIPAA, GDPR, or similar healthcare data regulations

Responsibilities

  • Support Senior Sales Engineers and Sales Representatives during discovery by helping gather technical requirements and documenting client needs
  • Assist in conducting technical demonstrations that showcase Komodo’s platform capabilities
  • Provide foundational guidance on healthcare claims data, including NDC codes, procedure codes, and claims lifecycle insights
  • Assist in designing and customizing solutions that integrate Komodo’s data and software products
  • Support the internal review process for technical proposals by ensuring documentation is accurate and aligned with internal processes
  • Collaborate with Sr. Sales Engineers to ensure seamless handoffs and customer success
  • Contribute to internal technical resources by developing templates, FAQs, and best practice guides
  • Successfully support 5+ opportunities by providing technical support to Sr. Sales Engineers and Sales Reps
  • Develop deep expertise in Komodo’s healthcare data assets, including Mx/Rx claims, Labs, EHR, and other data sets
  • Assist in creating technical templates, demo environments, and reusable assets to improve efficiency in common pharmaceutical use cases
  • Collaborate with Sr. Sales Engineers to deliver tailored solutions that align Komodo’s data capabilities to pharmaceutical client needs
  • Build strong relationships with internal sales teams, contributing to improved collaboration and client support

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare data and familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
  • Familiarity with CRM software, like Salesforce, to track client interactions and engagement
  • Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) or technical sales-related fields
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
