Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components and integrations
  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring technical teams
  • Experience in recruiting is essential
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Qualifications in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the Salesforce development team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with other teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Enable other teams to seamlessly, effectively and securely deliver features and value to end-users and customers, while adhering to platform best practices
  • Oversee code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Work with the Salesforce Architect closely to develop guidelines, principles and patterns and ensure adherence
  • Manage and maintain the Salesforce suite, including security, data integrity, and performance optimization
  • Design and implement integrations with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely support to end-users
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all technical designs and configurations
  • Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce technologies and best practices and recommend improvements to our platform
  • Manage release cycles for Salesforce, and work with other teams to ensure smooth deployments
  • Participating in our weekly on-call support rotation to provide support for any incidents impacting the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Forming, engaging and retaining a high-performing team
  • Measuring, reporting and continuously improving the delivery velocity and quality of your team
  • Creating transparency of delivery effort and outcomes by aligning to best practices to tracking work in Jira and ServiceDesk

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g. Platform Developer II, Technical Architect) are highly desirable
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with Salesforce integration tools and patterns
  • A strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines related to Salesforce
