Summary

Join Nagarro, a global digital product engineering company, and contribute to the success of our customer systems. You will ensure system operation, perform error analysis, and execute system updates. Responsibilities include managing basic projects like release upgrades for ABAP and Java systems, technology planning for SAP HANA, and supporting customers with troubleshooting and performance services. You will also participate in presales activities. This role requires a willingness to work occasional nights or weekends and relevant experience in SAP systems. Strong knowledge of SAP databases and fluency in German and English are also essential.

Requirements

• Completed university studies in business informatics / computer science or comparable qualifications and/or several years of relevant professional experience
• Experience in setup and operation of SAP systems as well as upgrades, patches, DB upgrades for both ABAP and Java systems

Responsibilities

• Ensure the system operation as well as the error analysis, maintenance and execution of system updates of the customer systems
• Carry out common basic projects, such as release upgrades for ABAP as well as for Java and take over the project management if necessary
• Be responsible for the technology planning of SAP HANA as well as the HANA migration
• Support our customers as 2nd and 3rd level support in the areas of trouble shooting and performance services
• Support in presales activities for new customers in the area of platform services

Preferred Qualifications

• Sound knowledge in at least 2 of the common SAP databases, such as HANA, Oracle, DB2 etc
• Business fluent German (C1) and fluent English (B2)
