Requirements

  • Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)
  • Experience in AWS Cloud Services: Good understanding of core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
  • Agile Methodologies: Deep knowledge of agile frameworks, particularly Scrum, and experience managing agile teams
  • Technical Background: While this is not a hands-on technical role, experience with software development or cloud engineering is highly beneficial
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to anticipate and remove impediments that affect the team’s ability to meet project goals
  • Experience in DevOps Practices: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and cloud deployment automation is a plus
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate the team to achieve project goals

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Agile Practices: Guide the team in agile/scrum best practices, including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • AWS Integration: Work closely with development and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and operations on AWS
  • Remove Impediments: Identify and address blockers that may slow down or impede the team’s progress
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize the backlog and clarify requirements
  • Agile Coach: Mentor team members on agile principles, fostering continuous improvement and team empowerment
  • Performance Tracking: Track key Scrum metrics such as velocity, burn-down charts, and ensure continuous feedback loops
  • Ensure AWS Best Practices: Collaborate with cloud engineers to ensure that the solutions are designed and implemented based on AWS best practices
  • Team Empowerment: Encourage the team to become self-managing and foster collaboration across all roles

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile Tools: Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools
  • Knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework and AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Developer certification is a plus
  • Experience in Enterprise Environments: Experience working in large-scale projects or with distributed teams
