Summary

Join bswift as a Scrum Master and coach and lead teams on Agile values, practices, and processes to achieve goals and deliver value to stakeholders. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or work equivalency
  • Minimum 4 years proven proficiency and experience with Agile practices, processes, and artifacts
  • A firm grasp of servant leadership concepts, strong facilitation skills
  • Strong dependency leadership skills and ability to remove impediments
  • Proficient in Azure DevOps (ADO)
  • Excellent communication, people-interaction, and organizational skills
  • Strong change management skills
  • Ability to brainstorm on solutions to address challenges and roadblocks
  • Superb communication and people-interaction skills

  • Continuous improvement attitude
  • Ability to encourage Agile behaviors, reinforce practices, norms, ceremonies, and support the overall team performance and efficiency
  • Identifying team improvement opportunities and looking externally for best practices to support continuous improvement
  • Leading and coordinating logistics for Agile ceremonies and practices, e.g., backlog maintenance, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives and other team ceremonies
  • Maintaining and tracking the teams metrics and artifacts to ensure visibility across all levels in the organization
  • Driving a supportive team culture through team building and engagement practices
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction

Responsibilities

  • Coach team members in Agile frameworks
  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
  • Be the point of contact for external communications (stakeholders)
  • Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
  • Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
  • Help teams implement changes effectively
  • Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
  • Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
  • Help build a productive environment where team members β€˜own’ the product and enjoy working on it
