Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and familiarity with other frameworks like Kanban, Lean, or XP
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Experience with Agile tools and software (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello)

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Serve as a servant leader to the Scrum team, promoting self-organization and accountability
  • Guide the team in understanding and applying Agile principles and Scrum practices effectively
  • Remove obstacles and impediments that may hinder the team’s progress and help maintain focus on delivering high-quality products
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the team to experiment, learn, and adapt their processes
  • Collaborate with product owners to ensure the product backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and ready for the next sprint
  • Monitor team performance metrics and use data to drive improvements and increase team efficiency
  • Act as a coach and mentor to team members, helping them develop their skills and abilities in the Agile environment
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and objectives
  • Advocate for Agile and Scrum practices across the organization, helping to build a culture of agility and adaptability

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification
  • Experience working with distributed or remote teams
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and experience in technical roles such as development, testing, or project management
