As a Project Manager, you will support software development teams using the Scrum framework, plan deliverables, resolve issues, manage project scope and timelines, and facilitate communication. You will coach team members, work with product owners, and ensure high-quality deliverables. Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in Agile development including coaching on agile methodologies and tools along with experience working with API/UI, Java based technologies and teams that support frontline experiences
  • Extensive knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, methodologies, architectures, and technical standards and proven leadership experience in achieving successful project outcomes
  • Proven ability to organize and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, reviews, estimation, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, burndown tracking and other Scrum-related meetings
  • Asks difficult questions, removes impediments, and makes issues and problems visible
  • Collaborates with the team on possible solutions and escalates as necessary
  • Coaches the development team and stakeholders on how to use Agile/Scrum tools and practices at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams with diverse personalities, during high pressure scenarios, within extremely tight deadlines
  • Demonstrates awareness of Agile and DevOps technology practices (e.g., Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration)

Responsibilities

  • Support the software development teams apply the Scrum framework
  • Plan deliverables and help teams monitor performance
  • Resolve issues that hinder the teamsโ€™ work
  • Manage each projectโ€™s scope and timeline
  • Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups
  • Coach team members in Agile frameworks
  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
  • Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers)
  • Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
  • Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
  • Help teams implement changes effectively
  • Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
  • Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
  • Help build a productive environment where team members โ€˜ownโ€™ the product and enjoy working on it
  • Accountable for ensuring that all working hours are accurately reported in Netsuite on a daily or weekly basis, that the majority of (if not all) hours are tracked as billable and that the project management tool in Netsuite is properly and fully utilized
  • Comply with the privacy, security and confidentiality policies
