Security Analyst General Manager

Summary

Join our team as a Security Analyst in Costa Rica! We're seeking candidates with 1-3 years of experience in a SOC to monitor threats, lead firewall reviews, and conduct information security reviews. As a senior analyst, you'll provide resolution with in-depth analysis and coordinate with incident response teams during security incidents.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Strong analytical and investigative skills
• Hands-on experience in Splunk or other SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools, EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) technology, and email security analysis

Responsibilities

• Monitoring to ensure threats are identified and escalated across multiple business units
• Acting as a senior analyst to monitor complex alerts and investigations, providing resolution with in-depth analysis
• Leading firewall reviews, ensuring configurations adhere to security best practices and identifying any potential vulnerabilities or misconfigurations
• Conducting Information Security Reviews (ISR) of services/applications integrated with Akamai, ensuring compliance with security standards and guidelines
• Coordinating with Incident Response and engineering teams during security incidents, providing support and expertise to facilitate timely resolution
• Documenting standard operating procedures (SOP) for new processes and use cases, ensuring clear guidelines for execution and continuity
