Requirements

  • Extensive, proven experience in threat hunting, incident management, and overall security practices
  • Strong background in cybersecurity, with knowledge of security frameworks, tools, and technologies
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally within a high-risk, high-security environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to various stakeholders
  • Ability to consult on the architecture and design of technical controls across infrastructure and application development, including third-party vendors
  • Experience in performing regular risk analysis, scoring, and evaluating the security state of the enterprise
  • Capable of writing business justifications and managing budget artifacts
  • Collaborative mindset, working with other departments to integrate security best practices
  • Advanced English

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of security professionals, setting clear objectives and managing workload through a business and risk lens
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential security threats before they can cause harm
  • Oversee the entire incident response lifecycle, from detection and analysis to containment, eradication, and recovery
  • Build and refine security systems and processes, implementing technical, people, and audit controls to mitigate risk for the enterprise
  • Implement and refine security monitoring strategies to detect anomalies and potential breaches in real-time
  • Develop and update a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that aligns with business goals
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, including PCI and SOX, using an ISO/ITIL framework lens
  • Oversee the implementation of security policies, standards, and guidelines to secure the organization
  • Guide the development and maintenance of incident response and disaster recovery plans
  • Stay abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, continuously improving the effectiveness of security controls
