Summary
Join 86 Repairs, a fast-growing tech startup, as a seasoned Account Manager to cultivate and expand relationships with key enterprise-level accounts. You will be responsible for customer retention, onboarding, and cross-selling/upselling. Success requires understanding customer needs and connecting them to our offerings. This role involves communication with all levels of customer organizations, from frontline workers to CEOs. You will manage renewals, retention, and a growth quota, relying on data to drive operational decisions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment and possesses a proven track record of success in account management and the restaurant or technology industry.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience successfully managing accounts, with a track record of capturing pricing increases and exceeding retention quotas
- 5-7 year(s) experience with a bookings quota (new business or cross-sell/up-sell are both fine)
- 7+ years of work experience
- A background in restaurants, whether in front of house or back of house
Responsibilities
- Manage customer relationships with key and enterprise-level accounts
- Communicate directly with customers, delivering key insights and supporting their growth and scalability
- Manage renewals, retention, and a growth quota
- Understand customers’ needs and connect them to the company's offerings
- Be responsible for customer retention, new customer onboarding, and cross-sell/up-sell to existing customers
- Cultivate and grow high-level relationships with existing customers
- Relies on data to help customers make better operational decisions
- Have tough conversations with customers
- Focus on retention and growth of the customer
- Give advice to peers on difficult situations with other customers

- Have worked in and/or are comfortable in a remote working environment

- Base Salary: $105,000+ with uncapped variable compensation. Salary ranges are based on relevant experience for the role. Compensation is tied to Chicago market data, regardless of where you live
