Requirements

  • Passion for transformative technology and clean energy
  • 5+ years of professional sales experience
  • Experience in the DMV market
  • Located within commuting distance of downtown Washington DC
  • Background in HVAC, building automation, energy systems, property technology or real estate
  • Proven track record of being a top sales performer
  • Proven experience closing new business using strategic value-based selling
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Selling a guaranteed savings solution with a no upfront cost option for real estate operators to manage their energy consumption
  • Managing the sales process from start to finish
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of relevant energy and real estate related policies, programs, and market conditions in the DMV area
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of Parity’s service offerings and value proposition
  • Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Conducting sales presentations to key personnel including property managers, board members, and other consultants
  • Effectively positioning Parity’s unique value proposition utilizing financial metrics, consultative customer engagement, market positioning, domain expertise, and other means
  • Working closely with Parity's engineers to develop proposals
  • Developing and maintaining a sales pipeline through cold calling, networking, taking over existing accounts, and other means
  • Participating in industry events to represent Parity and grow the company’s presence in the market
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of Parity’s service offerings, company strategy, and market positioning
  • Coordinating with the marketing team on campaigns and other demand-generation activities
  • Establishing partnerships that enhance business development efforts
  • Promoting and expanding Parity’s brand awareness in the DMV area market
  • Working closely with our marketing team to develop collateral and outreach campaigns
