Senior Accountant

Summary

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA)
• Proficient in using Xero for financial reporting, reconciliation, and general ledger management
• NetSuite or similar enterprise grade systems experience
• Familiarity with global accounting practices and regulations
• Understanding of multi-currency accounting and consolidations
• Experience preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with local regulations
• Ability to coordinate with external auditors for statutory reporting and tax compliance
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) to ensure alignment with reporting requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist in the month end reporting process to deliver timely and accurate information
• Assist with the year end audit process and statutory reporting
• Support the finance team’s wider strategic projects
• Improve the efficiency of financial processes and procedures and monitor compliance
• Actively develop your own skills to ensure current knowledge of applicable standards and regulations for Entersekt’s entities
• Establish strong relationships with key colleagues outside of the wider finance team

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of the accounting needs specific to SaaS or tech companies
• Experience in streamlining accounting processes, automating workflows, and improving system efficiencies
