Summary

Join Luminar Semiconductor Inc. (LSI) as a Senior Accountant and contribute to the financial health of our organization. This role involves overseeing daily accounting operations, preparing financial statements, and collaborating with various teams. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, Account Edge, Quickbooks, Syspro and Infor LN
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP Accounting principles
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
  • Strong time management and organization skills with ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Willingness to flex work hours 1-2 days per month to ensure reporting deadlines are met

Responsibilities

  • Timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial statements for LSI subsidiaries
  • Consolidation of LSI entities including inter-company eliminations with parent company
  • Upload all financial results into the global consolidation system
  • Financial reporting liaison between LSI and the Corporate Accounting team to ensure reporting accuracy, change management, and respond to information requests
  • Assist with preparation and consolidation of forecasts and annual budget
  • Collaborate with LSI Accounting team members to analyze and ensure accuracy of results across the operations
  • Prepare business review PowerPoint Presentations for the Group Management reviews
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Manage fixed asset ledger and conduct physical inventory of fixed assets
  • Other duties as assigned including assistance and testing for an ERP conversion
  • Key member of the ERP implementation team including testing and process mapping to ensure a smooth conversion and accurate financial reporting
  • Work instruction documentation for primary responsibilities and auditing of SOPs for designated back-up responsibilities
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports as requested by management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data trends
  • Assist with external financial audits and internal control audits as needed
  • Comply with federal, state, and local financial requirements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Actively seek continuous improvement opportunities resulting in workflow efficiencies
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • DCAA experience preferred
  • Experience in a Manufacturing industry preferred, but not required
