Senior Accountant

Summary

Join DBSync, a leading data integration provider, as a Senior Accountant – Corporate Finance! Based remotely in Bengaluru, you will collaborate with the financial team to manage end-to-end accounting operations for India and US entities. This role requires handling accounts payable/receivable, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting strategic corporate finance initiatives. You will manage intercompany transactions, prepare financial reports, and coordinate with external consultants and auditors. The position demands strong accounting knowledge, experience with both Indian and US accounting practices, and proficiency in accounting software. Success in this role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA/CPA/CMA or equivalent qualification is a strong plus
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, with exposure to both Indian and US accounting practices
• Solid knowledge of Indian GAAP, US GAAP, and compliance regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, or SAP
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and handle cross-border collaboration across time zones

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end accounting and finance operations for India and USA entities, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end closings
• Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and ROC filings (India) and US GAAP, sales tax, federal/state regulations (USA)
• Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and currency conversions
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with local and global standards
• Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and tax advisors in both India and the US
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Ensure timely filing of returns, including TDS, GST, 26AS (India) and 1099, W-9, etc. (USA)
• Support cash flow management, banking activities, and audit requirements
• Implement internal controls and recommend process improvements

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the IT industry or with companies having international operations is preferred
