Remote Senior Accountant

Summary

The Senior Accountant role at Solo involves leading the monthly and quarterly close process, managing procurement and expense reimbursement cycles, preparing financial packages, and assisting with external audits. The ideal candidate should have relevant accounting experience, proficiency with specific software, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced SaaS Tech Startup environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field
• 3+ years of experience in public accounting or public/private mix

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute monthly and quarterly close cycle working closely with the Global Controller and external accounting team
• Fully responsible for the Procure to Pay and Expense Reimbursement cycle including managing requests and processes in Airbase procurement tool
• Prepare full monthly financial package including financial statements and flux analysis
• Day to day monitoring of department inboxes and ad-hoc requests
• Play a vital role assisting with external audits
• Collaborate with FP&A on variance analyses and ad hoc analyses

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or CPA in process preferred
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience with SaaS and/or Software startups is a plus
