Senior Accountant

Summary

Join Spreetail's Finance - Accounting team in the EU as a Senior Accountant and contribute to the timely and accurate month-end close process. You will prepare and deliver high-quality management reports, maintain up-to-date reconciliations, support accurate intercompany and inventory accounting, and identify process improvements. This role requires 4–6 years of accounting experience, ideally in retail or e-commerce, a strong understanding of UK/EU accounting standards and VAT, and proficiency with Xero. Part-qualification or full qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) is preferred. Requirements

• 4–6 years of accounting experience, ideally in retail, ecommerce, or a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of UK/EU accounting standards and VAT
• Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA)
• Proficiency with Xero or similar accounting systems and experience with multi-entity reconciliations and intercompany transactions
• High attention to detail and analytical skills and a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently
