Senior Accounting Analyst

In this role, you will be responsible for key financial areas and processes, supporting financial reporting and collaborating with various stakeholders. You will build scalable accounting processes, perform monthly and quarterly close activities, and improve internal financial systems. You will also research and analyze new accounting standards, implement internal controls, and develop accounting policies. This position requires strong accounting experience, IFRS and BRGAAP knowledge, and excellent communication skills. Requirements

• Solid accounting and/or industry experience
• Graduated in Accounting or Administration/Economics (CRC active)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal
• Strong knowledge of Excel and experience working with large data, SQL will be an additional
• Knowledge in IFRS and BRGAAP
• Advanced/Fluent Spanish – daily international contact
• Knowledge in SAP (S4Hana)
• Demonstrated history of taking on various types of challenging projects and producing results
• Solution-oriented mindset with enthusiasm for establishing best practices

Responsibilities

• Participate in building scalable accounting processes to support global growth
• Plan and perform monthly and quarterly close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, variance analyses and analytical reviews, producing internal management reporting and external audit support
• Partner with Product, Systems, Treasury, Tax and Legal to support internal financial systems process improvements and automation and to advise on accounting implications
• Research and prepare technical accounting analyses for new accounting standards and/or business initiatives
• Design, implement and execute effective internal control procedures
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedural documentation
• Develop accounting requirements documents to enable automation of our accounting procedures
• Attendance and monitoring of the work of the external audit and consultancy, providing all necessary clarifications, aiming at the agility and quality of the work of local service providers

• Have worked in international accounting
• Intermediate/advanced English
