Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, combined with CPA or CMA certification
- A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and proven experience in financial reporting and compliance
- Demonstrated experience in scaling businesses and managing accounting operations in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems, including ERP systems
Responsibilities
- Leading financial reporting and compliance: Preparing accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with US and Polish GAAP, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and coordinating external audits
- Overseeing accounting operations: Managing daily operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll, and supervising month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Providing strategic financial management: Offering financial analysis to support decision-making, collaborating on forecasts and budgets, and identifying key financial metrics
- Leading and developing the accounting team: Mentoring team members, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering continuous improvement

- A track record of identifying efficiency gains and implementing process improvements
- Experience working in a fast-growth organization within a related industry (SaaS, Marketplace, or broader tech)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
