Summary

Join Rubrik's Deal Structuring and Approvals team as a Deal Analyst. This role supports the sales organization by working closely with sales and sales leaders to drive faster deal closures and streamline the deal cycle. You will analyze complex problems, provide solutions, and act as an escalation point for deal exceptions. The position requires strong communication, analytical, and process-thinking skills. Requirements

  • 5+ Years Experience in Deal Management, Sales Operations, Sales, Finance, or Business Operations preferably in contracting
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong process thinking
  • Sharp analytical thinking

Responsibilities

  • Support the sales organization by working closely with sales and sales leaders
  • Drive faster deal closures and streamline the deal cycle
  • Analyze complex problems and provide solutions
  • Act as an escalation point on deal exceptions, more difficult structuring issues and global deal desk matters
  • Design and approve deals & commercial models
  • Maintain company revenue and profitability
  • Provide deep proactive engagement
  • Lead and engage sales and sales leaders on high levels of strategic conversations
  • Manage a large number of inbound Rubrik nonstandard quotes and terms requests
  • Establish trusting relationships with team members, and cross-functional teams with the ability to influence policy, process and tooling automation requirements
  • Work to understand the interests behind positions and get past objections to workable solutions
  • Ensure forward deal momentum and troubleshoot and resolve issues with deal velocity
  • Drive continuous improvements to the Deal Desk
  • Quickly evaluate a variety of commercial outcomes and qualify the best outcome for Rubrik & Customer

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Finance, Business, Law, or similar fields
  • Masterโ€™s degree
  • Strong background in Salesforce.com, Excel, and CPQ
  • Working knowledge of contracts and accounting
  • Experience planning for the various stages of transformational and transitional change, recognizing how people react to it and how it affects the organization
  • A good sense of humor
