As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in developing strategic financial analyses, reporting, and models, directly supporting senior finance team members and Ro's leadership. You will prepare and deliver critical financial reports, build and maintain data models, conduct ad-hoc analyses, and identify key financial trends. This role offers the opportunity to significantly impact the company's financial performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The position requires strong financial analysis skills, experience with financial modeling, and proficiency in Excel and other data tools. Requirements
- 1-4 years of financial modeling and strategic analysis experience, with prior experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, corporate finance or FP&A
- Strong financial analysis experience, including ability to manage large data sets and turn into actionable analysis or forecast
- Quick learner, data-driven, intellectually curious, and detail-oriented
- Function effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing high priority items in a timely manner
- Successfully manage complex processes with multiple stakeholders on tight deadlines
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to cultivate effective working relationships (remotely and in-person) and communicate cross-functionally across all levels of management
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver daily/weekly/monthly leadership level reporting, providing clear and accurate commentary that evaluates key operating metrics, trends, and performance of the business
- Help build, maintain, and actualize complex financial and analytical data models
- Run ad-hoc analyses and develop models with various forecasting techniques to inform key business decisions and provide visibility into future financial performance, including potential product launches
- Identify financial trends by comparing and analyzing actual results versus plans and forecasts
- Provide flexible and dynamic support to the finance team, Ro leadership, and core investors as the company grows
- Partner with key cross-functional teams (Growth, Operations, Product, Data and Care Vertical Leads) to analyze the business and uncover actionable insights that drive improved financial and KPI performance
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree or higher in a relevant field, such as Economics, Accounting or Business Finance is a plus
- Advanced skills in Excel or Google sheets required, with experience in using BI tools (e.g. Looker, Metabase) a plus
