Senior Analyst, Strategic Underwriting

Summary

Join Rightway's Underwriting team as a Senior Analyst! You will be responsible for executing underwriting operations for strategic bids, ensuring timely submission of high-quality RFP responses. Key duties include executing financial models, presenting results to stakeholders, performing claims analysis, conducting industry trend studies, and improving department processes. This remote position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 1+ years of PBM underwriting experience, and proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Office. Experience with Tableau, Python, R, or SAS is preferred. The base salary is $80,000-$100,000.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics or other related discipline
• 1+ years in the PBM industry with a focus on underwriting and pricing
• Experience with SQL & Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Execute financial models to support the underwriting process for strategic bids and interpret the results of the models to identify key factors driving those results
• Present underwriting results to internal stakeholders and implement feedback to create optimal financial offers
• Perform detailed pharmacy claims analysis to identify and remedy variances in financial performance by recommending adjustments to pricing schedules
• Conduct studies on novel pricing phenomena and industry trends to support market-leading innovative pricing strategies
• Evaluate department processes, identify opportunities for improved outcomes or efficiencies, and implement planned improvements
• Run quality control processes to ensure the quality and accuracy of analyses
• Other duties as assigned
